Name: Diana of Themyscira aka Diana Prince Door: Door Pass - Submissive Canon: DCEU Canon Point: Wonder Woman 1 right after she defeats Ares Age: about 5000 give or take a few years but looks to be in her late 20s early 30s Appearance: Here History: Wikia link Personality: Even though Diana is a warrior, she is a very caring and loyal person. She was born, raised, and trained as an Amazon and is royalty since her mother, Hippolyta, is Queen of the Amazons and her father is Zeus, ruler of the Greek Gods. She is very proud of her heritage and has a strict moral code that she has butted heads with others about. She has no trouble showing her love and compassion to those around her, as Amazons were brought into the world to bring love and peace to humanity. She's left all she knew behind to protect humanity and stop injustices wherever she might find them and is more than willing to sacrifice herself for the world and those in it. She is someone who loves easily and passionately, from the great Amazon family she grew up with to the heroic men she fought alongside in the war to Steve Trevor and to even people she has never even met. She has loved them all freely and in different ways, but it is the very strength of that love and the compassion she feels for all of humanity that continues to drive her. She wants to believe in a better world, one where hate and war do not exist. Dianna has an unshakable belief in her principles. She believed with every fiber of her being that if she just defeated Ares, the war would end. Diana has absolute faith in her ability to save in the world and in the inherent goodness of people. It's that belief in love and in people that pushes her to stand up and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Because of this, she can be incredibly naive, believing in people when she shouldn't, trusting people who mean her harm. She sometimes can't see the world or people around her as they really are. As stated before. she truly believed that if she killed Ares, his wrath upon the world would end and humanity would go back to peace, not understanding that humans aren't always good. Still, she always holds hope close to her heart, choosing to see the good in everyone instead of the darkness that can so easily overshadow the light. Diana is incredibly smart. It is said that Diana is of genius-level intellect. She has a natural fluency in all human languages (even dead ones, like Latin, Ancient Greek, Sumerian, and Ottoman Turkish). She's read many books even while still on Themyscira, being well-versed in the 12 volumes of "Clio's treatises on bodily pleasure". Going back to her warrior upbringing, Diana was taught how to fight, but she was also taught how to successfully engage the enemy. Her aunt, Antiope taught her that there is a very big difference between fighting and engaging the enemy. Fighting involves just brute strength and power, and truly, anyone can fight. Engaging the enemy takes an entirely different set of strengths. Being able to engage the enemy, one must learn to basically read the mind and the movements of their opponent. She’s also very blunt, thinking that honesty is the best way to go about things. She doesn't set out to hurt feelings, but she doesn't want her motives to ever be able to be questioned. She will let people know exactly what she thinks of them - telling the Generals in London that they were all cowards. She's stubborn and when she sets her mind on something, it's a little difficult to steer her away from that, as seen when Steve had to talk her into not charging off straight to battle when they reached London. She continues to fight long after most people would have stopped. Her hardheadedness and her defiance can get her into trouble. Even when she was a child, Diana has had a rebellious streak. When she was a little girl, she wished for nothing more than to be trained as a warrior, to be a true Amazon. When her mother forbade it, she convinced her aunt Antiope to train her in secret. That defiant streak continued throughout her life. When someone tells Diana she can't do something, she's as likely to do it anyway as to listen. Diana has always had a hard time asking anyone for help, except perhaps her aunt, Antiope. She rushes into battle alone, ignores when people tell her what to do, and is confident she can do most things by herself. She left Themyscira with Steve with the intention of killing the war god on her own, not yet knowing she was a god herself. The only reason she asks Steve Trevor for help is because he was already involved in the war and she believed he could lead her to where Ares is. In battle, though she'll accept help, she prefers to rush off on her own, battling dozens of soldiers on her own. Diana can be very judgemental. When she meets the Generals in London, she cannot understand their actions, or in this case, inaction and she gets very indignant about the whole thing. Even if she doesn't understand the motives of people, she still has a tendency to judge them based on her morals and not the situation. Like with Charlie, Sammy and Chief - she called them liars, murderers and smugglars while Steve pointed out that he did those same things as a spy. Later Sammy points out that they all can't be what they want to after Diana asks him about Charlie not being able to shoot. She doesn't act this way to be malicious, but at this point in her life she has no experience with dealing with people like them.
